With a professional background in instruction, educational technology, and an English BA, I bring a unique analytical eye to the tabletop space. Whether I am breaking down a heavy strategy game, evaluating a title’s classroom potential for my Roll Call series, or providing concise reviews and vibrant photography, my goal is always the same: to connect people through play.

I am a proud extrovert whose mission is to connect people through play. Being an ‘Omni-Gamer’ means my playtesting groups are as varied as the games themselves. I rely on my podcast crew and gaming friends to stress-test complex, heavy titles. Meanwhile, my three sons allow me to thoroughly evaluate the rest of the market—from deep dives with my college-aged son, to historical games with my teenager, down to family-weight games with my youngest. Add in digital game nights with remote coworkers, and my reach extends far beyond a single demographic. I don’t just teach the rules; I analyze exactly who the game is built for.
